This site was established by a Lion for Lions to network and have fun with community service projects.
HELPFUL TIPS ON THE USE OF THIS SITE
- You must register and logon to view non-public portions of this site. You must validate registration by clicking on a link emailed to you after you register.
- Once you've registered You should update your profile. You can do this by clicking on the small person icon on the upper left corner of the screen. Once the profile page is displayed, click on "Edit Profile". Once in you are in edit mode, you should also see a link to update your profile photo.
- It is preferred you upload your real photo but if you are camera shy, a profile icon of your choice. This icon will be displayed next to your posts so it helps personalize the messages, blogs, comments, questions, answers, etc.
- Add Friends. A social site does not work very well unless you build your network. The more the merrier. You can do this by clicking on a profile photo/icon that you see and click on "Add Friend". You can also go to "Tools/Friends" then invite friends using their email address. When they register, you will automatically be added as their friend if they click on the link they get on their email.
- Contribute! As Lions, you already know the value of contributing and being part of the community. Don't be shy. Blog about what it means to you to be a Lion and how you and others have benefited from it. Unless people contribute content, there will be nothing for you or your friends to visit on this site! It is up to each one of us to establish a feeling of online community.
- Have Fun! You don't have to be a tail-twister to have fun with your friends!
- We ask you to report any inappropriate content ( there will be a report link on the left of most posts and if it is deemed inappropriate, the site administrators can block or delete content and possibly ban the offending account ) so that we can keep this site with appropriate content to keep a clean image worthy of the Lions name.
